Zoe has corporate responsibility for all aspects on PMO and Project Controls, including our standards, training and consultancy systems. She champions Mace’s approach to setting up and maintaining PMOs to the highest standards and have been instrumental in the success of a number of PMOs – often in a prestigious steering group capacity including London 2012, Heathrow Expansion and HS2 Euston Station. Zoe’s wide range of skills includes planning and project controls, having undertaken roles including Head of PMO, Head of Project Controls and Head of Planning.

Piyush has over 30 years’ experience in major projects and programmes. His Programme Management experience and leadership roles include iconic projects, major airports, infrastructure, commercial and health sector developments where he has worked alongside senior managers and the Client team to deliver effective reports in a timely manner. His tenacity for doing things right the first time means he will quickly assess the objectives to define the necessary controls. He has experience in schedule, budget and risk management, which are all key requirements for governance and assurance on major Programmes. Piyush is passionate about open and transparent reporting, which requires collaborative leadership and stakeholder management to get the correct buy-in from all parties.

People living in care homes, living on canal boats, and our student population; the list goes on.

She has been advised and delivered radical transformation strategies for close to 25 years for clients as diverse as MoJ, MoD, HMT, HS2, FCA and MHCLG Post Grenfell Building Safety Programme to name but a few. She recently completed a project on the mobilisation of the Mayor of London’s Violence Reduction unit. 

 

Ruchi is also an active Non Executive Director on the Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust with specialist focus on strategy and transformation. She is using her insight in to mental health in to developing wellbeing and preventative mental health strategies for major programmes organisations - looking at how we can optimise the project working environment in tandem with operating culture as a driver for well being and positive mental health.

Carol Deveney is the founder and Managing Director of See Change International Consulting Ltd. Carol is a transport and project sponsorship consultant and sponsor coach. She has held head of profession and vice president roles of Sponsor divisions in the UK and internationally in the transport sector. She has led on a variety of projects and programmes and at varying levels of seniority, including director and vice president level. Carol combines a background in sponsoring infrastructure projects and change programmes with coaching and leadership development gained in complex, high value environments. She is an ambassador for sponsorship as a successful approach to dealing with ongoing ambiguity in projects and leading the delivery of benefits. Carol has been accountable for audit and assurance of a capital investment portfolio in excess of £34bn. She has peer reviewed several major programmes and projects with a focus on achieving benefits, open dialogue and behavioural observations as enablers of good governance. Carol has a Post Grad in Business and a BA Business and Management and is dual qualified in Environmental Management and Occupational Health & Safety.

David Cheesman

David Cheesman has over 19 years as a board director working in large and complex NHS organisations. He is Director of Strategy & Transformation at Barnet Enfield & Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust – a large, complex hospital serving people in North Central London. David was previously Programme Director for Guy’s & St Thomas’ (GSTT) Comprehensive Cancer Centre. Prior to joining GSTT, David was Director of Strategy at the North West London Hospitals NHS Trust, following three years at Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust where he was Executive Director of Operations. He had previously been on the Board of Whipps Cross University Hospital 2002 to 2006 as Director of Acute Services and then Director of Strategy and Performance.
