All stands are pre-built for all partners. Any additional set up can be done on 3rd November, Monday, between 1100 hrs to 1800 hrs, or 4th Nov, Tuesday, between 0700-0730 hrs. Please have a look at the instruction on the logistics document ,to have a better understanding on how to set up the stand.

Any couriered materials will be delivered to the respective stands before 1600 hrs on Monday 3rd November.

We offer both CEU and PDU for attending the Expo. The Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a nationally recognized measure of participation in an approved non-credit continuing education program. One Continuing Education Unit (1.0) is defined as: Ten contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction.

The Professional Development Unit (PDU) was established by PMI as the educational metric for project management educational activities. One PDU is earned for each contact hour spent in structured learning, which is relevant to project management. For conversion purposes, one (1) CEU equates to 10 PDUs.

We offer 1 PDU for each hour of attendance of the expo. So for this expo event, we offer 8 PDU with no defined split.

The submission of a paper must be in MS Word format/ Adobe PDF format. To include the following critical elements:

• • It must be within the domain of project controls (planning, scheduling, cost engineering and estimating, risk management, forensic analysis and/or change management)
• • An abstract of the paper must be of 100-175 words and should address the major aspects of your paper. Summarize the scope and nature of the work upon which the paper is based. Note the relative emphasis of the paper on either research work or practical applications for projects. Describe the results presented in the paper and state specific conclusions of your work. Describe how these differ from results or conclusions of previous work on the same or similar subjects.
• • The submission paper must be within 1500-2500 words and must contain:

  • • Brief author profile (no more than 100 words)

In this particular category, we are focusing on the achievements of the project professional, so it doesn’t have to be just one project, if they decide to answer various elements of the application basing it on one particular project, then that is also fine.

You can just share what can be shared, whilst ensuring to mention that other data is security bound from public domain – the judges will therefore be guided accordingly.

Yes, that will be possible as in the individual categories, you only need to mention the contributions made by the individual in the project/programme. The criteria focuses on the achievements of the project professional, so it doesn’t have to be about just one project but the person's career in general.

We can confirm that any documents you attach will only be shared with the judging panel and will not be shared/published anywhere else. These documents will only be used only as support for the judging process

The supporting documents can be a combination of images, data and text (but you must ensure to avoid any external links). Judges will only read what is included in the 2 supporting documents and not any hyperlinks included within it.

I am afraid there is no extension available. In order to keep the same level playing field for all applications, unfortunately we are not in a position to extend the deadline for individual cases. By all means, you can still prepare and ensure to submit for consideration for the following year. ​

You may submit as many entries in the different categories as you wish. However, the same project or programme and its material may not be submitted as the basis for entry into more than one award category. Please ensure to peruse our Rules of Entry prior to submission

Yes, you will be able to submit the details of each of the organisations involved in the project when filling in the application form. However, please ensure to have the clearances required before submitting. Check our Rules of Entry

We tend to launch for entries at least 3 months prior to the deadline date in order to give our participants enough time for client clearance etc. You can submit the entry before the deadline and then withdraw if necessary. All we ask is that you advise us as soon as you become aware that you are no longer able to proceed with the application should the clearance not be granted.

Please check that the confirmation has not gone into your spam folder. Alternatively we can check at our end and let you know if it is showing on our system as submitted.

Should you run out of space in within the application, you can use the two supporting documents as an opportunity to cover the details of your deployment that you couldn’t cover.

No, it is not compulsory. In the footer of the application, we advise that 2 supporting pages can be attached should the applicant wish to do so.  Here you can use the supporting document as an opportunity to cover the details that you couldn’t cover in the submission, or as an opportunity to show client testimonials etc.

You can include hyperlinks within your application, however this is not encouraged. Bear in mind that the judges are having to read through multiple entries and, all of which we are trying to keep to the same amount of information. So, that everyone is on the same level playing field, judges will only read the data within each application form (sending them repeatedly to external web pages will lead them to an unmeasurable amount of details that they will unlikely read).

The Awards ceremony is a black-tie event. Floor-length dresses such as ball gowns or evening dresses, bow ties, and tuxedos may be worn. We also welcome any national attire, that attendees wish to wear.

Upon completion of purchase, you will receive a booking confirmation e-mail, which you can then present upon arrival at the venue on the night, in order to gain access.

The number of complimentary tickets will depend on the partnership package that you have agreed to. Please refer to our media pack for specific details.

Providing enough notice is given, we will endeavour to make a name change to your booking - however please bear in mind that we cannot guarantee that the venue will be able to cater for any specific dietary requirement that has not been communicated with plenty of notice

Ahead of the event, we will request a high-res image of the project as well as a company logo from all our finalists, which will then be displayed on our AV on the night. Should you then happen to win the particular category you were shortlisted for, you will get the opportinity to give an on-stage "thank you" speech, followed by a short video interview talking about your award winning entry and what it represents to you etc.

Every shortlisted entry will get offered ONE complimentary ticket .We will ask the main point of contact of the shortlisted entry to submit a name for who they would like to represent them at the Awards' ceremony by e-mailing us at ukawards@projectcontrolexpo.com. Any additional tickets can be purchased through our registration page

Dietary requirements can be notified by e-mailing us at ukawards@projectcontrolexpo.com. We will be able to share that with the chef in advanced for them to cater as per your requirement.
