The Project Controls Expo Awards are a celebration of project controls’ excellence. This year there are a total of eight categories, each concentrating on a particular area, whether it is based on an individual's accomplishment, a project, a programme, or an organisation.

The apprentice's major contribution to a project’s success and the contributions of other members of the project, will be recognised. Our judging panel will also be shortlisting and honouring those professionals or organisations who have made a significant contribution and dedication to the project's development in another area of our awards.

This year’s awards will also honour consultancies that serve as project controls experts, either entirely or in part support of other organisations. Additionally, the panel will also look for and reward innovation in project controls and how it can lead to more effective change in businesses and society.

The judges will examine the outputs and effects of the organisational and cultural transformation change in this area and another but simultaneously acknowledge the importance of project management rules and practices in assuring success. Additionally, they will be looking for examples of significant and complex social impact 'initiatives' that are being implemented across all sectors in the UK, with the purpose of improving lives, strengthening society, connecting communities, and ultimately altering futures.

In one of the other categories, the judging panel will be looking for the achievements and lifetime dedication of project experts towards demonstrating a consistent practice for the development of the profession, someone who has had a major impact on the project controls community as an advisor, instructor, or mentor. Similarly, the judging panel is also looking for organisations that have completed projects worth more than a million pounds, as well as the stories behind the challenges, strategies, and successes of these megaprojects.
