The Global/UK Project Controls Expo Awards is now back for its 5th edition, providing the perfect platform for showcasing exceptional projects & individuals that are transforming the industry with their best practices.

This year, nominations are being accepted across ten different categories, including 2 brand-new awards, one which focuses on the Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) principles, and the other, on the new generation of apprentices in the field of project management.

Aiming to celebrate and inspire the success stories of the professional community, all categories are free to enter, with all nominations being assessed by demonstrating a specific set of criteria, which will be reviewed by a judging panel made up of industry experts.

In recognition to those individuals who have given an all-round positive contribution to their projects, one of our two new categories seek to acknowledge those apprentices in the field of project management. An award to those who have demonstrated the necessary skills to lead a project successfully. Whilst also giving recognition to the efforts of project controls apprentices & project controls professionals, who through their passion and determination, have helped the progression of their projects through exceptional outputs and outcomes.

The second new category for 2023, emphasises the awareness of practical and sustainable projects or programmes that help create better assets, better places, and better communities – thus generating greater economic and environmentally sustainable futures. Additionally, we will be looking to award good examples of significant and complex social impact 'initiatives' that are being implemented across all sectors in the UK, with the purpose of improving lives, strengthening society, connecting communities, and ultimately altering futures.

The judges will also be looking for innovation within project controls in projects, whilst checking how its wider use within organisations and society can contribute to successful change. Similarly, in the transformation category, the judges will look for the facts behind the organisational and cultural changes within the organisations and for the benefits to the wider stakeholders (including society). Furthermore, judges are looking for the success stories behind the megaprojects worth more than a million pounds with emphasis on their challenges, outputs and outcomes.

Our ninth award will be given to the best performing consultancy that operates as a project controls’ specialist either entirely or in part support of other organisations...and finally, an award where the judges will be looking to recognise the lifetime contribution of an individual and their dedication to the project controls’ profession throughout their career, an individual who has made a lasting positive impact on the professional community.

You have the opportunity to submit an entry until Thursday, 15 June 2023, and we look forward to welcoming you at the official Awards Ceremony, Black-Tie & Gala Dinner on Tuesday, 7 November at the iconic Wembley Stadium.
