The prestigious Project Control Expo Awards, known for recognising excellence in project controls, are gearing up to celebrate another year of groundbreaking achievements.

 

Scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 26 November at MCG, the event promises to honor the most innovative and impactful projects across the industry.

With categories With categories spanning a wide spectrum of project controls disciplines, the Expo Awards aim to highlight the outstanding contributions of professionals who demonstrate exceptional skill, creativity, and efficiency in managing projects of all sizes and complexities.

The awards aim to celebrate and inspire success stories in the professional community, welcoming nominations from all categories. Each nomination is carefully assessed by industry experts against specific criteria

In recognition of organisations who have made comprehensive positive contributions to the industry, this year we have introducedtwo brand new categories in 2024 focusing on small businesses operating as project controls specialists, either independently or in support of other organisations and tech company that have harnessed the power of technologies to build or transform Project Controls within their own, or other’s business.

This award is for those who demonstrate the crucial skills needed to lead a project to success. We also recognise the dedication and outstanding contributions of Australian Chartered Professional Engineer and Project Controls Professionals who have driven their projects forward with exceptional results through their passion and determination.

Another category highlights the importance of practical and sustainable projects that benefit assets, communities, and the environment. We also seek to commend exemplary initiatives with significant and complex social impacts across all sectors in the Asia-Pacific region, aimed at improving lives and strengthening society.

 

Judges will actively seek innovation within project controls, evaluating its broader application within organisations and society to drive successful change. Similarly, in the transformation category, they will scrutinise the organisational and cultural shifts within organisations and assess their impact on wider stakeholders, including society. Furthermore, the judges will delve into the narratives of megaprojects worth more than a million pounds, focusing on their challenges, achievements, and outcomes.

 

The ninth award will honor the top-performing consultancy specialising in project controls, whether providing full or partial support to other organisations. and finally, an award where the judges will look to recognise the lifetime contribution of an individual and their dedication to the project controls’ pr ofession throughout their career, an individual who has made a lasting positive impact on the professional community.
