Adel A. Zadeh is a professor and director at Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies, where he leads research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, project management, and the built environment. With over 15 years spanning industry practice and academic scholarship, his work focuses on how agentic and generative AI systems are reshaping decision-making, competency structures, and organizational governance across construction and engineering contexts. Adel's research has appeared in leading peer reviewed journals, and his scholarly work directly informs his practice as a strategic advisor and consultant to organizations navigating AI-driven transformation. He works with companies across the construction and engineering sectors to design adoption strategies, build internal AI capability, and lead the organizational change initiatives that determine whether AI investments actually take hold. Adel holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and is certified across global project management standards with PMP®, PMI-SCP™, PMO-CP™, and CPMAI™ designations, a combination that reflects both the depth of his technical grounding and his commitment to the future of intelligent project delivery
