1. Registration & Attendance

By registering for the Project Controls Expo ("Event"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment (where applicable) and issuance of a confirmation email.

Project Controls Expo reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations at its discretion where necessary (e.g., incorrect information, misuse of promo codes, or breach of these terms).

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.

  • More than 3 months before event: 50% refund
  • 1–3 months before event: 25% refund
  • Less than 1 month before event: No refund
Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 30 days. No refunds will be provided for non-attendance.

3. Transfer & Substitution Policy

Delegate substitutions are permitted up to 5 working days before the event, subject to written notification.

Tickets may not be transferred to competitors or restricted parties without prior approval.

4. Fees & Payment Terms

All fees must be paid in full prior to the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Additional paid elements (e.g., workshops, gala dinner, tours) are non-refundable unless the event itself is cancelled.
  • Any applicable taxes (including VAT or local equivalents) will be added where required.

5. Promo Codes & Complimentary Registrations

Promo or complimentary registrations must be validated against eligibility criteria.

Project Controls Expo reserves the right to:
  • Verify details with professional bodies, partners, or sponsors
  • Cancel registrations where inaccurate or misleading information is provided

6. Event Changes & Programme

Project Controls Expo reserves the right to:
  • Modify the event agenda, speakers, venue, or schedule at any time
  • Substitute speakers where necessary
Such changes do not constitute grounds for refund.

7. Personal Data & Privacy

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the applicable Project Controls Expo Privacy Policy.

By registering, you consent to:
  • Use of your data for event administration and communication
  • Sharing limited data with partners/sponsors where relevant to event participation

8. Photography, Filming & Media

Photography and video recording will take place during the event.

By attending, you grant permission for your image, voice, and likeness to be used across Project Controls Expo platforms (commercial and non-commercial).

  • If you wish to opt out, written notification must be provided prior to the event.
  • Unauthorised recording of sessions is prohibited without prior consent.

9. Speaker Content Disclaimer

Views expressed by speakers are their own and do not represent the views or endorsement of Project Controls Expo.

10. Health, Safety & Security

Attendees must comply with all venue safety procedures.

  • Emergency exits and evacuation protocols will be communicated at the event.
  • Unattended items should be reported immediately.
  • Project Controls Expo is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

11. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to maintain professional behaviour.

The following will not be tolerated:
  • Harassment or discrimination
  • Disruptive or abusive behaviour
  • Unauthorised solicitation or sales activity
Project Controls Expo reserves the right to remove any attendee without refund for breach of conduct.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Project Controls Expo shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss.
  • Total liability shall not exceed the registration fee paid.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for:
  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

13. Force Majeure

Project Controls Expo shall not be liable for failure or delay due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • War, civil unrest, or pandemics
  • Failure of utilities or transport
In such cases:
  • The event may be postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled
  • No liability shall arise beyond reasonable remedies at the organiser's discretion

14. Intellectual Property

All event materials, content, and branding remain the property of Project Controls Expo.

  • Attendees may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit event content without prior written consent.

15. Special Notes & Delegate Benefits

Delegates may receive:
  • Complimentary refreshments (as specified per event)
  • Access to networking sessions and social events

  • Check spam/junk folders for confirmation emails

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, unless otherwise specified for regional events.
